About
The tool we needed.
FutureLights was born behind a DJ booth. A wedding and party DJ from northern France, who lights his own events, built the lighting software he was looking for and couldn't find.
Design
Designed in northern France by a lighting enthusiast, engineer and DJ.
FutureLights was born behind a DJ booth, for very real parties: weddings, birthdays, corporate events. Every feature is built to last all night, one-handed, while the other hand stays on the mix.
Where it comes from
At Future Events, the lights are run from the DJ booth, often alone, often in a venue you first see on the day. It needed a tool that sets up fast, lasts the whole night, and runs one-handed while the other hand stays on the mix.
Unable to find one, he built it: first for his own events, then for the other DJs, entertainers, venues and clubs who have the same needs.
Who's behind it
Behind FutureLights is Thomas: a lighting enthusiast, engineer and DJ at Future Events, he plays weddings, parties and corporate events in northern France. The software was born at his own gigs, and that's still where it gets put to the test.
